2025 Hyundai Venue Hero

The Hyundai Venue is a mighty mite: it may not be big, but it packs a lot of appealing characteristics into a small package. Its price tag is small, too, which opens Venue ownership to a wide range of buyers, even those with more limited budgets. They’ll save on fuel expenditures as well, since the Venue boasts highway gas mileage in the 30s. But all of this doesn’t mean it’s a bare-bones model: attractive amenities such as heated seats, wireless smartphone integration, and wireless charging are available. Plus, all trims get Hyundai’s SmartSense driver-assist technologies and industry-leading warranty coverage, including a 5-year/60,000-mile limited bumper-to-bumper warranty and a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty. For added value, buyers and lessees also get 3 years/36,000 miles of complimentary routine (oil/filter changes, tire rotations, and multipoint inspections).

Trims and Mechanical Specs

All three 2025 Venue trims – the SE, SEL, and Limited – have a powertrain made up of a 121-horsepower 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine and a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Their fuel-efficient front-wheel drivetrain yields fine gas mileage, estimated by the EPA at 29 city/33 highway for all trim levels. Plus, the standard Drive Mode Selector can be set at Normal, Sport, or Snow to suit the given road situation.

Featured Amenities

The Venue’s base trim, the SE, has basic amenities such as cloth upholstery, a pair of USB charge ports, a 4.2-inch gauge cluster, a 60/40-split fold-down rear seatback, and automatic-on/off halogen headlights. The air-conditioning and front seats’ positioning are controlled manually. The SEL is upgraded with a sunroof, proximity keyless entry, automatic climate control (two zones), another pair of USB ports (for the second row), a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, push-button start, and rooftop rails. At the top of the trim line, the Limited gets heated seats, upholstery in a combination of cloth and leatherette, a wireless device charge pad, heated exterior mirrors, and LED headlights, daytime running lights, and taillights.

Active Safety Tech

Hyundai’s SmartSense technology grouping is standard issue in the 2025 Venue. The base selection of advanced driver-assistance technologies consists of forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, lane keeping assist, driver attention warning, and rear occupant alert in all trims. The two higher trims also get blind-spot collision warning and rear cross-traffic collision warning. In the Limited, the forward collision system adds technology that can detect bicyclists.

Infotainment and Connectivity

Every ’25 Venue has a user-friendly 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (wireless for the SE and SEL, manually plugged-in for the Limited), HD Radio, Bluetooth (for hands-free phone and audio streaming), and a sound system with an array of speakers. As the most well-equipped trim, the Limited also gets SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluelink connected car services, and Hyundai Pay, the convenient proprietary payment system that can be used for gas and parking purchases.
