The four trim levels for the 2025 Tucson Hybrid are Blue, SEL Convenience, N Line, and Limited trims. The powertrain pairs a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with a 47.7-kW electric motor, delivering 231 total system horsepower. A six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters manages power delivery to the standard all-wheel-drive system.
The base trim, Blue, achieves the best fuel economy with an EPA-estimated 38 mpg in both city and highway driving, while the other trims return 37 mpg around town and 36 mpg on the open road. Cargo capacity measures 41.2 cubic feet behind the rear seats, which will expand to 80 cubic feet with the second-row seats folded. When the Tucson Hybrid is properly equipped, its towing capacity reaches 2,000 pounds.
The Blue goes beyond entry-level status with standard premium features such as Digital Key, a hands-free liftgate, heated front seats, wireless device charging, an eight-way power driver’s seat with lumbar controls, dual-zone automatic climate control, proximity keyless entry, and automatic LED headlights. It also has fabric upholstery, a dual-level cargo floor, rooftop side rails, push-button start, rear privacy glass, sound-reducing windshield glass, heated side mirrors, a 4.2-inch driver information display, a tilt-and-telescopic steering column, four USB ports (two per row), and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The SEL Convenience adds several upgrades: a panoramic sunroof, H-Tex leatherette upholstery, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, full LED exterior lighting, side mirrors with integrated turn signals, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, multi-color ambient cabin lighting, and 18-inch wheels. The sporty N Line builds off the SEL Convenience by adding exclusive exterior treatments with unique front and rear fascia, combination leather and fabric upholstery, alloy sport pedals and scuff plates, and 19-inch wheels. The range-topping Limited starts with the equipment list of the SEL Convenience and adds leather upholstery, heated and ventilated eight-way power front seats, a heated steering wheel, a driver’s memory system, heated second-row seats, a head-up display, upgraded exterior lighting, unique exterior accents, sound-reducing front side-window glass, rain-sensing wipers, and 19-inch wheels.
Every 2025 Tucson Hybrid has Hyundai SmartSense installed, incorporating forward collision avoidance with pedestrian/cyclist and junction turning detection, lane keeping and following assistance, blind-spot collision warning, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance, adaptive cruise control, driver attention warning, rear occupant alert, and safe exit warning. The Limited adds a blind-spot view monitor, a surround-view camera system, reverse parking collision avoidance, highway driving assist, and front and rear parking sensors.
The Tucson Hybrid’s infotainment epicenter is a new 12.3-inch touchscreen that’s part of the redesign. The system is supported by wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth, and access to Bluelink+ Connected Services for emergency support and remote features. Navigation is added at the SEL Convenience level. Audio comes through a six-speaker system in the Blue and SEL Convenience, while the N Line and Limited have an eight-speaker Bose setup.
