The ‘25 Palisade lineup consists of the SE, SEL, XRT, SEL Premium, Limited, Calligraphy, and Calligraphy Night. They all have the same 3.8-liter V6 – a powerplant capable of generating up to 291 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque – and an 8-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Trailer sway control and trailer pre-wiring are standard, the towing capacity for all trims is up to 5,000 pounds (with trailer brakes). Every trim gets front-wheel drive (FWD) by default, with all-wheel drive available, except for except the Calligraphy Night, which has standard AWD. The EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings for all trims are 19 mpg city/26 mpg highway with FWD and 19 mpg city/24 mpg highway with AWD.
The SE comes nicely equipped with automatic LED headlights with LED accents, LED daytime running lights, heated side mirrors, proximity key entry with push-button start, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Hyundai SmartSense is a suite of advanced safety technologies that utilizes radar, cameras, and haptic feedback to help maximize driver awareness and accident prevention. It’s standard on every ’25 Palisade trim and consists of blind-spot collision warning, driver attention warning, forward collision-avoidance assist with car/pedestrian/cyclist detection and junction turning, high beam assist, highway driving assist, intelligent speed limit assist, lane following assist, lane keeping assist, navigation-based smart cruise control, parking distance warning (reverse), rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, rear occupant alert, and safe exit assist.
All trims but the base SE also get advanced rear occupant alert; a surround view monitor is added on the XRT and higher, along with upgraded parking distance warning with both forward and reverse capability. The SEL Premium and above get a blind-spot view monitor, Highway Driving Assist 2, and advanced forward collision-avoidance with evasive steering assist, oncoming lane change, and side lane change. The Calligraphy and Calligraphy Night are loaded with Remote Smart Parking Assist and reverse parking collision-avoidance assist.
A 12.3-inch color touchscreen infotainment system dominates the dash of every Palisade. Its standard components are onboard navigation and traffic flow, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth hands-free with wireless audio, HD Radio, SiriusXM, a Wi-Fi hotspot, dynamic voice recognition, and Bluelink+. Hyundai Pay, which enables the touchscreen to be used to pay for gas and parking, is standard as well.
