Trims and Powertrains

Hyundai offers the 2025 Ioniq 6 in four trims: SE Standard Range, SE, SEL, and Limited. The budget-friendly SE Standard Range features a single rear-axle electric motor powered by a 53.0 kWh lithium-ion battery. Its rear-wheel-drivetrain (RWD) produces 149 horsepower and offers a maximum range of 240 miles. The higher trims have a 77.4 kWh battery paired with a larger RWD electric motor to make 225 horsepower. Range varies from 291 to 342 miles, depending on the trim and equipment. The SE, SEL, and Limited can be upgraded to all-wheel drive, which adds a front-axle motor. The system produces a combined 320 horsepower and range estimates of 270 to 316 miles.

Under peak conditions, a Level 3/DC fast charger can charge any Ioniq 6 trim from 10% to 80% in about 18 minutes. Using a Level 2/240 volt charger, the same activity takes about 5 hours and 20 minutes for the SE Standard Range and just under 7 hours for the other trims.

Standard Features

The SE Standard Range starts the Ioniq 6 range with a long roster of standard equipment that includes dual-zone automatic climate control, stain-resistant fabric upholstery, an eight-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support, a power trunk with automatic opening, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, a power open/close charge port door, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. This edition also has a 60/40 split-folding rear seat, LED exterior lighting with automatic headlamps, a tilt-and-telescopic steering column, heated power side mirrors, sound-reducing windshield glass, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a rear spoiler, five USB ports (including two in the second row), and 18-inch wheels. The SE adds heated front seats, automatic flush-type door handles, and a heat pump (for improved cabin comfort).

The Ioniq 6 SEL gets several upgrades, including H-Tex leatherette upholstery, Digital Key, ambient cabin lighting, wireless device charging, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and 20-inch wheels. At the peak of the lineup, the Limited has further enhancements: a sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a driver’s memory system, a head-up display, an eight-way power front passenger seat, power-folding side mirrors, unique exterior accents, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability (for powering tools and other electrical equipment).

Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology

The SmartSense suite of advanced driver aids is standard across the Ioniq 6 range. This technology bundle consists of forward collision-avoidance assist (with pedestrian and cyclist detection), lane-keeping assist, lane-following assist, blind-spot collision warning, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, adaptive cruise control, highway driving assist, and automatic high beams. All trims also have a rearview monitor with parking guidance, front and rear parking sensors, driver-attention warning, safe exit warning, speed limit assist, and rear occupant alert. The SEL and Limited come with blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, upgraded forward collision-avoidance assist that adds junction turning, upgraded highway driving assist, and advanced adaptive cruise control. The Limited also gets Remote Smart Parking Assist, a blind-spot view monitor, a surround-view monitor, and four-side parking collision-avoidance assist.

Infotainment and Connectivity

A 12.3-inch touchscreen is the infotainment command center for the 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 6. This platform incorporates navigation, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and SiriusXM satellite radio. Most trims have a six-speaker audio system, but the Limited gets an eight-speaker Bose setup. Access to Hyundai Bluelink connected services is also standard.
