Buyers of the 2025 Elantra Hybrid have their choice of three trim packages: Blue, SEL Sport, and Limited. Their powertrain combines a 1.6-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with an electric motor to produce 139 horsepower. This setup is paired with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a front-wheel drivetrain. The Blue trim is the most fuel-efficient, achieving up to 51 mpg in the city and 58 mpg on the highway. The SEL Sport and Limited follow closely, with both achieving 49 mpg city/52 mpg highway.
The entry-level Blue comes well equipped with a blend of basics and sophisticated features, with that list including cloth upholstery, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, USB-C charging ports, a hands-free smart trunk release, a 4.2-inch gauge cluster, heated side-view mirrors, and automatic LED headlights. The debuting SEL Sport enhances that array with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, wireless phone charging, a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster that flows seamlessly into a matching 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, and sporty alloy pedals. The Limited tops the range with H-Tex (leatherette) upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, position memory for the driver’s seat and exterior mirrors, a sunroof, Digital Key 2, and a 60/40-split folding rear seatback.
Hyundai’s SmartSense suite of active safety and driver-assistance technologies is standard in every ’25 Elantra Hybrid trim. It consists of blind-spot collision warning, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, lane keeping and lane following assist, driver attention warning, safe exit assist, rear occupant alert, and automatic high beams. The Limited trim builds on the standard package by adding an enhanced forward collision system (adding cyclist and junction-turning detection), adaptive cruise control, and highway driving assist.
The Blue comes with an 8-inch touchscreen equipped with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, HD Radio, a good-quality audio system, and Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming. The SEL Sport takes multimedia a step further, adding a 10.25-inch touchscreen with SiriusXM satellite radio, dynamic voice recognition, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. At the top of the lineup, the Limited boasts a superior listening experience thanks to a top-rated Bose sound system.
