The three 2023 Venue trim levels are SE, SEL, and Limited. Its efficient powertrain pairs a 121-horsepower four-cylinder engine with a continuously variable transmission (CVT); all Venues are front-wheel drive. The Drive Mode Select feature included with the SEL and Limited offers an option between Normal, Sport, and Snow modes for optimal operation according to the driving situation at the moment. The EPA has estimated that all Venue trims achieve 29 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway.
The focal points of the SE are cloth upholstery, dual USB charging ports, a 60/40-split folding rear seatback, a 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, a 4.2-inch gauge display, a 12-volt outlet, heated body-color exterior mirrors, a black grille, and 15-inch alloy wheels. The SEL is enriched with a sunroof, dual-automatic temperature control, second-row dual USB ports, roof rails, proximity key with push button start, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Limited’s interior upgrades are heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, synthetic leather-trimmed seats, and wireless smartphone charging. It also shows off a different exterior appearance with LED headlights and LED taillights, roof-color heated exterior mirrors, and a chrome grille. Hyundai’s BlueLink technology is an option for this trim so that the driver can remotely access the Venue to lock/unlock its doors or start the engine.
Hyundai combines the latest high-tech safety features in the SmartSense package. Standard on the base SE are automatic high-beam headlights, lane-keeping assist, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, driver attention warning, rear occupant alert, and a rearview camera. At the SEL level, blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic warning are added, while only the Limited gets cyclist detection.
The base infotainment array in the 2024 Venue has an 8-inch touchscreen, HD Radio, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and a six-speaker sound system. The Limited gets the loaded edition with a navigation system and SiriusXM satellite radio, but it reverts to manually plugged-in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
