Not having purchased a new car in several years we anticipated that this process might be somewhat painful...not! From the minute we walked into Balise Hyundai we were welcomed in a warm and friendly manner. We asked for the sales rep. with whom we had made initial email contact. Over the course of at least 2.5 hours, Jay Robinson guided us through the process professionally - with clarity, patience and good humor. We asked for lots of variables but that did not seem to phaze him at all. We especially appreciated that while he certainly wanted to see us in the vehicle, he also was not "over the top" in his sales pitch. This made us feel comfortable and free to make a good decision. Financing was also handled very expeditiously. We have not yet picked up our vehicle but are anxious to get it next week. They had fogotten to install the moonroof wind deflector and Aubrey took the car into the service area to have it installed after the service department was just closing for the evening. While we waited for them to install it, we met with Wally, a service advisor and we even set-up our first oil change service requirement for the Sonata. Our son has since driven the car to Tyndall Air Force Base and he and I could not be happier. The car is perfect and our son loves it. As I was pulling in to the service bay, I heard a report on the radio that a bus had flipped on I-91. I work at UMass, and I knew that buses carrying our students had left that afternoon for a ski trip, and one of my students was on the trip. As I went into the waiting room, I was calling coworkers and trying to get a hold of the student, with no answer. Immediately, seeing my tears, the three salesmen that were working that night got on their computers trying to get me as much information as possible and turned the news on so that I could follow the news reports. Luckily, everyone ended up being OK, and my student wasn't on the bus. I truly appreciate the care and concern these three men showed when they could have just ignored me and gone about their days. Lead by Danny Medino, and his fantastic team mates. I had a problem at 6:00 am last Thursday. My wipers broke..in the middle of the rainstorm.
